Sarah sees clients in office and via telehealth as needed. Sarah welcomes the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults. She is most passionate about working with individuals struggling with trauma, mood disorders like anxiety or depression, eating disorders, body image concerns, self-esteem/identity concerns, and grief.

About Sarah

Through her compassionate approach Sarah Roe will help you build a life worth living that works with your personal values. You will feel effective, alleviate your stress and be fully present again in daily life through this journey that honors your depth and sense of self. 

 

Sarah is a licensed mental health practitioner who obtained her master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2019 at the University of Iowa. She brings high level experience from her time serving people through advocacy work, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings for the treatment of eating disorders, mood disorders, body image concerns and trauma. Sarah is also trained in the use of Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. 

 

Sarah is passionate about providing a safe space for individuals seeking empowerment based care, believing in the collaborative nature of the therapeutic process. Sarah works from a person centered approach with integration of a technical framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and somatic experiencing practices.
