Spencer sees clients in office and via our secure telehealth service. Spencer primarily works teens and adults. She focuses on mood disorders, including anxiety and depression, as well as overall improvement in a client's self worth, daily life and their relationships.

Spencer is able to see self-pay clients, and is in network with:

About Spencer

Spencer is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner (PLMHP). Spencer earned her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Nebraska Omaha  (UNO.) She also holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

 

Spencer comes to Lifespan having completed rigorous clinical training at three sites, serving clients of all ages in the Nebraska Methodist College and UNO Community Counseling clinic, as well as with the renowned Upward Bound program working with adolescents.

Spencer has a warm and authentic presence, which instantly puts her clients at ease.  Spencer believes in working from a client-centered space, and creating a open, positive session room for clients to freely express their thoughts, feelings and relational concerns. Some of her specializations include use of Mindfulness Based techniquesCognitive Behavioral Therapy (working on thoughts and feelings and how they change our mood), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Spencer is trained in the use of Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
